Dani's Halo is named after my beautiful late mother Donielle. She passed away in 2017. My grandmother called her Danny for short,  hence where " Dani Halo" comes from. I wanted to honor her and keep her memory alive by naming Dani's Halo after her. She was a great woman and incredible mother. She's the reason I decided to dive in and give my passion for sewing a chance.

 

My Mother brought my first sewing machine when I was sixteen. At the time, the type of sewing machine I wanted was a too expensive for my mom's budget but she made it happen anyway. I was extremely grateful. She pushed me to to be creative and open up my mind to all possibilities.

 

Eventually, I started to practice everyday and from there on my sewing journey began. I realized much later that I love designing.  The idea of turning pieces of fabric from nothing to something fabulous and beautiful gives me the thrill I need to make fashion design a life long career.
